Questions regarding the covid-19 pandemic


  1. Can you meet with friends?
  • Meeting with your friends or visiting them increases the risk of transmitting or contracting the virus.
  • Stay in touch with your friends through phone calls and video calls.
  • Practice social distancing. Even if you meet a friend, avoid physical contact of any kind.
  1. Can you visit elderly family members?
  • The elderly and those with underlying medical conditions such as diabetes or kidney disease face far more severe complications from contracting COVID-19.
  • If you have symptoms or if you recently travelled abroad, practice home isolation.
  1. Can I go out if I have symptoms but have not had contact with a person who travelled from a disease spread country?
  • Do not go out if you have any symptoms.
  • The best course of action is to stay home.
  • If your symptoms continue to get worse, visit the flu clinic.
  1. Can I transmit the disease if I do not exhibit any of its symptoms?
  • Yes, people without any symptoms can spread COVID-19.
