A total of 3055 people submitted form to participate Virtual National Quran Competition 2020 and 2539 people has uploaded the recording of the recitations said Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr.Ahmed Zahir Ali. It was announced by minister while addressing the ceremony to commence the training programs for Imams of the resorts of the Maldives today.

The audition round of the competition has ended now. Moreover, the final round will be held on 13th December 2020 Sunday from 08:00 am to 17th December 2020 14:00 pm. Ministry has announced that for the Virtual Quran Competition, recordings of the recitations will be accepted through Viber number 7321728. Since some people are facing difficulties to attach the recitation recordings to the portal provided.
