News Ambassador of Maldives presents Letters of Credence to the Government of Sweden

Ambassador of Maldives to Germany presented his Letters of Credence to Chief of Protocol of Sweden as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Sweden

Ambassador of Maldives to the Federal Republic of Germany, Ahmed Latheef presented his Letters of Credence to Ambassador Maria Lundqvist, Chief of Protocol of Sweden as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Sweden during a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden earlier today.

During his visit to Sweden, Ambassador Latheef met with the Head of Asia Pacific Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Dr. Cecilia Ruthstrom-Ruin and discussed on further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries. Ambassador also met with Deputy Director General, International Affairs Division of the Ministry of Environment of Sweden, Mr. Thomas Lindblom and the Ambassador of Sweden to Maldives, Mr. Klas Molin. Ambassador will also be meeting Deputy Director and Research Director of the Stockholm Environment Institute, Dr. Åsa Persson and the Deputy Director-General of the Swedish Institute, Ms Anna Rudels tomorrow to discuss cooperation in their respective areas of expertise.
