First batch for Imam Training program has concluded. Program held from 05th December 2020 to 14 January 2021 concluded with 16 students.

First batch for Imam Training program has concluded. Program held from 05th December 2020 to 14 January 2021 concluded with 16 students.

One of the students, MR Mohamed Arif, Imaam of the Bandos Island Resort, said that this program helped him to achieve many new information with regard to Friday Sermon and other Fiqh of the religion Islam. Moreover, " this program was an excellent program. I would like to thank for everyone who helped to make this program successful.

Also 2nd and 3rd batch of the program has started on 01st January 2021 with 25 students. This two batches to be concluded on 15th Febaruary 2021

This training program is held in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Islamic Affairs.

The main aim of the program is to train Imams who can lead Friday prayer and other congregational and non-congregational prayers temporarily. Certificate of participation is to be handed over for those who complete this training and will be provided with temporary permit to lead prayers will be given as well by Ministry after the training.
