The last Friday Sermon was based on human trafficking. Human trafficking includes stealing human, using people as servants, using them as sex slaves, using kids in drugs business and withholding salary after making people work in their jobs.

Moreover, it stated that, children, disabled people has become victims of human trafficking which lead to psychological and physical impacts. This in turn has destroyed their future. Hence Human trafficking has created a social burden to the community. “As Maldivians bring people from abroad, it is very crucial to revise the basic rights of expats” Friday Sermon stated.

In conclusion, it was stated that, these inhuman acts are against Islamic Principles which is prohibited in the religion of Islam. Hence, people who bring expats have to fulfill their rights and if it is not done, expats are to resolve these issues according to the rules and regulations set by the government. Creating unrest and endangering properties to get the rights should not be done.
