Newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Senegal to Maldives calls on Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdoul Wahab Haidara has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, today.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister Khaleel welcomed Ambassador and congratulated him on presenting credentials as the first Non-Resident Ambassador from Senegal to Maldives. State Minister also noted the long-standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and Senegal, and expressed confidence that the Maldives-Senegal relations will reach new heights with the appointment of the first Ambassador.

Ambassador Haidara assured of his commitment to work with the Government of Maldives in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, in areas of mutual interest.

State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Mohamed Faisal, Additional Secretary and Moomina Ibrahim, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
