- In your technical specification you have specified "Policy Based Routing" for both item 1 and item 2. If the proposed SDWAN appliance requires licensing for this feature do we need to include the required license?
Yes. License should be provided if it is required for this feature to be enabled.
- In your technical specification you have specified the requirement for Security licenses such as Application Control, IPS and URL filtering for both item 1 and item 2. If the SDWAN appliance requires licensing for this, do we need to include the required license?
Yes. License for security features needed by the tender should be included.
- In your technical specification of item 1 (Concentrator Appliance) and item 2 (SD-WAN BRANCH CPE) you have specified 1 year security subscription and 1-year subscription for SDWAN license. Do we have to include the required threat protection service subscriptions including signature updates (e.g: IPS signature database update, antivirus signature database update, and web filtering, etc) for the duration of the subscription. Similarly, do we have to include the required SDWAN licensing and any associated subscriptions for the duration of the subscription.
Bidders are required to provide 5 years of licenses and subscriptions. The 1-year security subscription and 1-year subscription for SDWAN license is meant to denote annual subscription and licensing and not just for 1 year as indicated in the "5 Year Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)” Form in the tender TOR (Page 14).
- For item 2 (SD-WAN BRANCH CPE) should the proposed device support IPS directly out of the box.
Yes. IPS is required out of the box.
